How did I get started writing? Well, I'll tell you.

It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post, mostly because I loathe self promotion. I’m always happy to answer questions when people ask, because I assume they are interested in the answer. Otherwise, why ask, right? But I do tend to stray away from blathering on unsolicited. So when I was pondering a new blog post and what to talk about, I figured Hey, why not answer a question people might want the answer to? Simple enough, right?

As luck would have it, my friend Mike Wolpert at Social Jumpstart (www.socialjumpstart.com) is a video marketing whiz.

So we sat down a while back. He asked me some questions, and I provided answers. He also happened to have a camera running at the time, so it worked out great.

One of the most common questions I get when people find out I wrote and published a book is some variant of “how did you get started writing generally, or this book in particular?”

Well, thanks to Mike, I now have a video answer I can share with you. I hope you get some interesting insights from it. Please let me know what you think, and if you’d like to see more of these. As always, thanks for taking the time to read this, and have a wonderful weekend.
